"When we arrived staff were lovely and friendly. The family room we had was on the top floor so although its a family room its not ideal when you have a baby or toddlers as we had to leave our strollers in the car. When we got to our room the children found chocolate on the floor which we had to dispose of and we found rubbish still in the room. Some of the shampoo bottles were already open and were leaking on the shelf next to the bath. The room was nice apart from that. The beds were made well. It wasnt very convenient trying to get all our luggage through the dinning room to get to our room and as we were leaving also i bumped into someone having breakfast as i was trying to get our stuff out as the passage through was narrow. It was a really lovely atmosphere though all the staff were so helpful and friendly, they had food alternatives to support allergies. During our stay we found that as there is an outdoor sitting area a-lot of the time when we left or came back to the hotel people were smoking and its close to the entrance of the hotel so we had to walk past and with have young children and a baby with us we didn’t like breathing it in or having it around the children. I did inform staff of the state of our room and the gentleman at reception apologised and said he would ensure he sorted it. I found that over all it was a really lovely stay. It was really convenient as we were across from the beach and we got a parking permit so we could park for free."

"Excellent guest house. Owners could not be more helpful. It was so good to feel like home from home. We would highly recommend St Hilary Guest House. Would give 11 out of 10 if we could. Really good location. Loved our stay. Next time we are in Llandudno this is where we will stay."

"Everywhere was very clean other than the bath sealant was black in places and the grout between the tiles over the shower was dirty due to constant use but needs to be addressed. I appreciate this can’t be dealt with by the everyday cleaning but needs a deep clean. Also mucky behind tap on the bath. All the staff were very nice, spoke to everyone and were very helpful. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options both on the buffet and to order. The bar looked good but we didn’t need to use it."

"We absolutely loved our stay here - a unique property with exceptional views and tranquillity (when the kids allowed it). The property was clean, and there were notes around to help keep it that way.We were very impressed with the kitchen supplies and with the amounts of toilet roll, blankets and towels - really couldn't fault the provisions at all! The beds were all made up lovely but we didn't realise that they would all be so big - our party was mainly made up of people in their 70s and young children - some of whom are disabled. The beds did not quite meet our needs but if you don't mind the climb up or an overly bouncy surface, I'm sure you'll be delighted! They're very clean and the linens are super cosy. The host was lovely and responsive when I asked for some advice and provided way more info than I'd requested, which was so appreciated.The house is beautiful in it's decor - we mainly spent time outside or in the kitchen space - were all 10 of us fit comfortably across the couches and the chairs. The kids wanted some tv time but unfortunately the wifi would never connect to the tv - my husband managed to tether via his phone a few times though for some peace!We found local caterers and a cake maker all nearby for pre-planning a surprise birthday celebration and we used local supermarkets to do a click and collect on the way there so the fridge could be well stocked. Made life easier. I would definetly retrun if my group could manage the beds again."
