My partner, myself, and one of our dogs stayed at the Studio/ Loft while getting my daughter settled into school. The hosts were very attentive, and it was a clean, comfortable stay in a very beautiful area.

This property is exactly as advertised: a pet friendly, spacious studio (garage) loft in the woods with outdoor space shared with the owners, who are very friendly. The kitchen is set up for breakfast so that you're free to explore dining options for lunch and dinner.

Awesome little loft!

Hosts Doug and his wife were great! Friendly and very accommodating. The loft is spotless and comfortable furniture. Large hammock. Great clean bathroom and shower. Location to Newport and other attractions is super easy. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful find: the studio is spacious and sunny, the extensive grounds are lovely and the host is very welcoming but not intrusive. The location is a quick bike ride to the town of Little Compton and several amazing South County beaches.

Girls’ weekend

Four of us stayed here comfortably. We loved the “slumber party” atmosphere with having one open room. The place was decorated well and clean. It is very private, even though the host lives next door in the main house. The hosts gave fantastic advice for where to eat, what beaches to go to and what to explore. The location of this rental was fantastic! So peaceful and relaxing. If we are in the area again, we will stay here. Amazing!

Stayed August 2023 We had a wonderful stay at Doug and Dabba's place. We were concerned about staying in one room, but the studio is spacious, well-designed, and supplied with all the necessities. Doug and Dabba were wonderful hosts, who were very helpful and friendly. They respected our privacy, answered questions quickly, and were always happy to help make our stay as successful as possible. Nice spots with the basics you need

We enjoyed our stay, things were clean, AC worked well, and the hosts gave us privacy, but also checked to make sure we had everything we needed. To stream stuff they have an apple tv, so if you don’t have an iphone, you may want to consider bringing something with you if you want to watch specific things (like a fire stick or chromecast). A few reviews have mentioned allergies - we didn’t smell any smoke or have any issues there, but the house is in a woodsy setting and near the coast, so if you have allergies to that type of stuff, you may have issues - i brought extra allergy medicine with me just in case, and everything was fine. Overall, we would stay again, our dog really enjoyed smelling around the yard, and if you’re looking for a beer/wine/liquor store check out Lee’s market - we were really impressed for such a small area. Thanks for a nice dog friendly stay near Westport!
