Spectacular clifftop house with hot tub next to sandy beach, stunning sea views

"Absolutely one of our favorite stays. The view is DROP-DEAD gorgeous, and the outdoor space is incredible. Between the sunken seating area, hot tub, dining area, multiple places to lounge and the upstairs deck, it was honestly difficult to make ourselves leave!We arrived with all kinds of plans for exploring Tortola and ended up spending much more time at the house than expected because it was so peaceful and relaxing. It gave us exactly the R&R we didn’t know we needed and truly felt like a home away from home.We loved the open-air living downstairs and having AC in the upstairs bedroom. Having a washer/dryer was also a huge plus during a longer trip. The house has so much Caribbean character, and those shutters are adorable.The owners were wonderful—very friendly, incredibly responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay.One helpful note for island travelers: the home, like most on the island, uses cistern water, so plan accordingly and pick up drinking water when you get groceries.We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for somewhere to truly unwind with an unforgettable view, this is it."

"Loved our stay here. Place was clean, kitchen was stocked well. The jacuzzi was refreshing after a day around the island. Cooked all but one meal at the house. The breeze was perfect and the air conditioning in the bedroom was amazing! Would definitely recommend the Cooten House to anyone traveling to the island."

"Prettyview Villa is everything Judy says, and more. The location is great, within easy driving distance of, well, everything (Tortola is small!) The villa is clean, neat and well-appointed. The kitchen is, as Judy says in her video, small but efficient. And so well-equipped. The place is clearly used by the owner as there are plenty of food staples you really don’t want to buy for a short stay. The pool is a real highlight. Fantastic for floating in while gazing out at the fantastic view. It’s worth noting that there are lots of stairs: a couple of flights from parking space to the kitchen/pool/entertaining area, and then more up to the bedroom/bathroom. More again to the cupola, but the climb is so worth it. Communication with Judy was great. She’s super responsive, although there was nothing of consequence I needed to ask for. She also provided a chilled bottle of wine as a welcome which was a lovely touch. Magic :)"

"Beautiful place to stay-in every way! Beautiful Caribbean views, gardens and pathways sculpted into the hillside and the accommodations are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very spacious, clean and a full kitchen for cooking easy meals. We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor shower and the amazing views from the comfortable verandah. But, the best part was our host, Pearl, so helpful in every way! We hope to visit again ASAP!"

"Great space for 4 couples, bedroom air conditioning was welcomed both for cooling and dulling the rooster noise :-). Close to the airport. Great view, coffee and drinks on the balcony was perfect. Things to note - no toiletries provided, washer/dryer work but very long cycles so plan accordingly. House sits on top of a very steep hill providing great views but not great for walking, used a driver for every outing making it less convenient than being in town. "
