""Shimmers" is one of the best places we have stayed on the island and we have been coming for a good few years. We have stayed in some lovely places and some shabby but this is definitely in the former category. The house feels brand new with lovely linen and towels, a superb kitchen and the whole layout exudes calm and relaxation which is what we needed. The maid came twice a week and in this respect it is akin to staying in a hotel but with complete privacy. Of course its on the golden coast...

"We rented Nelson Gay for our wedding in September 2024 and had the most wonderful stay and magical wedding. As a venue for weddings it is nothing short of a dream. We had the most stunning sunset, the layout of the property is fantastic for a cocktail style wedding with an intimate setting and beautiful backdrop. We also stayed here for 6 nights with family and friends and it was so special to have the staff attend to us and be able to enjoy each other's company in a warm home with so many of us...
