"Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

"A perfect barn conversion giving you everything you need for a peaceful break away from everything. A friendly welcome from the host shortly after arrival who gave us really useful info on the local area etc. The barn itself is perfect and gives you everything you'd need for the perfect break. Lovely area not too far away from West Mersea and the wonderful seafood sellers"

"Not a terrible place just stuck literally in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure it would suite some, just not us. Met with noise from neighbours thumping against walls and a cat that kept whining to come in. Left 20 minutes after arrival. Informed owners but they didn't seem too concerned we weren't staying and didnt ask why we weren't staying. An OK place, just not for us."

"Really nice, spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Excellent communication, even when i had a small issue getting into the apartment. They had me sorted within a couple of minutes."

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
