"The Old Pomegranate House was an enchanting place to stay. Views of the bay, beautiful sunsets and a cozy, well appointed, clean space to call home. Perfectly located to explore Eastern Crete. Recommendations from our hosts were detailed and really enhanced our trip. They also left us delicious feta, and local tomatoes and cucumbers- we feasted on these for breakfast our entire stay. We had a minor issue with on of the A/C units but was dealt with within 30 minutes! Lovely clean place to relax and chill, would highly recommend. Excellent communication with host. "

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Estia, set just a short drive from Makry Gialos in a peaceful hillside location. The villa offered everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday and then some!The views were truly breathtaking—rolling hills, sea glimpses, and beautiful sunsets right from the terrace. The pool was a standout feature for us. It was perfect for both younger children and adults, with a great layout and plenty of space to swim or cool off. There were also plenty of shaded areas around the pool and outdoor seating, which was ideal for escaping the midday sun without having to head inside.Inside, the air-conditioning worked flawlessly throughout the villa—powerful, quiet, and consistent. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was a great sense of privacy and calm throughout. We especially enjoyed the dining spaces both indoors and out—perfect for big family meals or laid-back breakfasts with a view. There are many lovely places to see in a hire car and easily fell your time up on the island. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Villa Estia is peaceful, well-equipped, and an excellent choice for families or groups looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Crete. We’d absolutely stay again!"
