"Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff, excellent food, spacious well appointed rooms, great beach area. Very few sunbeds at the relatively small pool. No other tavernas or bars in the immediate area. Opposite the beach but a busy road in between."

"This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. There are excellent family-run tavernas within walking distance and many hikes in stunning nearby gorges. Ioanna welcomed us with homemade jam and biscuits and the local raki liqueur and was attentive to our every need. We could not have asked for a more restful and pleasant experience. "The staff at the Numoierapetra were amazing - helpful, friendly and so keen to make our stay as good as it could be. The rooms were clean, the beds and showers great, and the main pool area with the bar had a great vibe! Our group really enjoyed the excellent morning yoga at 8am with a really good teacher - a great way to start the day! The food in the main buffet restaurant was much better than we expected, with an excellent variety of choices that changed every day. It was a la carte quality rather than 'hotel buffet' standard. And the location of the main restaurant was lovely, overlooking the sea. Perfect for breakfast and also sunset. The spa treatments were great and the spa therapists lovely, just like the rest of the staff. The location of the restaurant means that there is not a lot that you can walk to, but with such a lovely resort you do not really need to leave it!"

"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. The bed was a bit like sleeping on a blanket covered rock and only 2 pillows. Breakfast the first morning... my husband is a diabetic and is not able to eat any of the cakes and pastries offered. there was only one piece of dry looking cheese left. This is not usually a problem as most hotels will be able to offer something else, such as eggs or omelette. So I asked the person at the desk (same guy as checked us in) if there was any cooked or other savoury food. the answer was ... 'no'. not even, I am sorry but we don't have anything else. So, having paid €11 each for breakfast (for 2 days) we had breakfast elsewhere. "

"CHRISTODOULOS was very helpful throughout. We had some trouble finding the house and he rode out to show us the way. The house is lovely, though the photo's must be from a few years earlier and to get 5 stars needs a little rejuvination."
