Great tastefully refurbished charming home in the heart of Lithgow. Great place to stay to explore all the wonderfull walks and hikes in the Blue mountains. Michelle is a very accomodating host and we all had a great stay thank you! There is only one set of bath room and tiolet though. This is manageble for a family of 4 but would be challenging for 6.

The house was great, very clean inside and had all we needed for our family. The owner was very kind and helpful to speak with. It was a good location, not far from playgrounds, shops, amazing lookouts and other interesting landmarks (glow worm tunnel a must-see!).

We were after a cozy clean home for short family getaway to spend some quality time together - bush walking in surrounding of Blue Mountains; or sit home relax and not to do anything at all. This property was perfect - warm and cozy and the kids were happy to stay home during the storm.

Beautifully presented and clean property. Bathroom aged but functional, loo needs buttons checked (hard to flush). Great to have washer/dryer, and basics in the cupboard (ie instant coffee, teabags). Property was easy to access, proximity close to everything.

Check in was super easy and the host let us arrived earlier than 3pm which made it easier to managed the kids!
The property is super clean and has everything you need. I didn’t realised we also had an outdoor area with table and chairs which was perfect before dinner to relax.
The bathroom/ laundry would need to be renovated but it doesn’t affect the property.

A well kept and accurately photographed accomadation. Smooth check in and out.
Excellent amenities, as well as linens and appliances. Family and I really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of space for a family or 3 couples.
Only negative would be bathroom needs a little spruce up to match the rest of the house.

The Cottage Lithgow is the perfect place to stay in Lithgow. The cottage is charming, clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is amazin. The location is also fantastic, in a historic street just a few minutes from the town centre. We arrived late and the owners tuned the lights and heating on which was very much appreciated, It far exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning next time we are in Lithgow. Thank you.

To be honest - this property exceeded all expectations, I really don’t have enough expressive words to emphasise our stay
From the moment of booking, our host was in contact with check in details
When we arrived the cottage was simply beautiful, the beautiful gardens so befitting of such a prestigious property
Knowing through photos on the internet that the inside had been refurbished - to step inside and see the actual interior the photos did not captivate the true beauty of this house
The welcome gifts of muesli, cookies, champagne and a gift card welcoming me to their property was such a personal touch
Thank you to our hosts. I have passed your details to many I know - we will be returning

What can I say, the cottage is just gorgeous. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with beautiful roses on the porch. As you walk in, the scent of vanilla gives you the feeling you are walking into a 5-star hotel. But, it doesn’t stop there. Beautiful flowers scattered across the house, spacious bedrooms, tastefully decorated living room and a modern kitchen won us over.
Michelle let us arrive before the check-in time, which was very much appreciated after such a long drive. She was also kind enough to bring a brand new BBQ for us to use. We were lucky the weather was nice and sunny, and so we enjoyed having all our meals in the backyard.
The cottage is perfectly located if you like bushwalking. Over 3 days, our group of 5 went to Hassans walls lookout, Deep pass canyon, The Lost City, Dobbs Drift lookout, Maiyingu Marragu, Dargan arch and Evans crown. Amazing walks and views.
Overall, we had an amazing time at the cottage and would highly recommend.

The Cottage is a carefully renovated heritage home in a quiet, peaceful area and within easy walking distance to the centre of town. The bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of storage and very comfy beds. The kitchen and lounge area are also very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. All amenities needed for an easy stay with our friends were available. There is only one bathroom and toilet but that was not a problem for our group of four.

I travelled up with my partner and four other friends to celebrate my sisters birthday. We were very happy with the house. It was very clean and cosy. The heating in the house was a big bonus as Lithgow can get pretty chilly at night!
