"A really lovely gite in a lovely village, with a convenient garden attached with table, chairs and sun loungers in the afternoon shade. Gite conversion was fine, though some of the equipment was idiosyncratic, with microwave/grill but no oven. Only a two burner hob and unnecessary dishwasher (for 2 people?). 3 steak knives but no butter knives. The dining/living room cupboards were ancient and two of the doors fell off while we were there. "If a little piece of French countryside is what you are looking for then this is place is for you. We enjoyed our stay though did not utilize the property to its full potential. We used this as a base to visit the caves and tour the surrounding area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to just relax here. Next time. Jacqueline was awesome. We would recommend."

"The property was ideal for us, great enclosed garden for our dog. Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is quite rustic which is reflected in the price. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone with a dog. Very close to Sarlat which is beautiful . A short walk up the hill brought us to a lovely village and church which was beautiful.Follow the yellow signs in the village for a lovely circular walk back to the property via a bar, shop and cafe."

"True country side experiance in a beautiful landscape. Owned by a friendly family who also speak very good english, which for me without even basic french language skills is a big plus. Perfect place to slow down a little and relax off the grid or take a tour around the countryside with your car or on your bike with a mix of steep hills, wast valleys as well as some historical monuments like the Château de Hautefort in cycling distance."

"What a beautiful region & remarkable home! My family of 4 spent two weeks in this city’s most enchanting, most photographed medieval cottage & loved our stay. The home is quiet at night, beds were comfortable, washer & toilet on ground floor were convenient & fans for cooling were provided.
