"Great location in easy walking distance to everything you would want to do in Galway. Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom desperately needed shelving near sink and in the shower. Portable air conditioner took some tweaking but worked. Room could use a small refrigerator and a luggage storage option for early arriva. Overall a nice stay. Would rent again. "

"We stayed here over Easter. The house is amazing it has everything you could ever need. It’s in an excellent location to visit the sites of Co Clare & Co Galway. The host is a lovely man & easily contacted. "

"Our family of 8 (4 couples) really enjoyed our stay in Doolin. The Cottage is in a great location and the property manager did communicate with us when we had a problem with cold showers (we didn't know what time that the water heater would be on). Doolin is very walkable and the cottage had a great game selection for our family. No real grocery store in town so pick up groceries before you arrive. We did miss an actual coffee maker, but the French press worked for a few cups. "

"The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has everything you might need. The sitting room is amazing, surrounded by windows so you are looking at the Burren from the sofa. The kitchen is huge and we liked having the dining table there close to the big windows. It’s very quiet and very comfortable, and it’s just five minutes by car from town. "We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property.
