Cozy and small but all the space you need, since you won’t spend much time at home! Nearby grocery and plenty of food options. A hilly walk to transit but that’s Lisbon! Nice dark bedrooms

Pretty good location, within 25 minute walk to most attractions. We had some issues with intermittent hot water in the shower, and the electrical breaker tripping due to multiple heaters plugged in.

This clean, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment is ideal for a Lisbon city trip. Communication with Catarina was easy and prompt, and the location is fantastic, with restaurants, the metro, and other conveniences close by. The city center is just a 20-minute walk away, making it both convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Catarina’s family apartment was the perfect place to stay while on vacation in Lisbon. It’s a vintage build surrounded by small little streets. It’s a third floor so you have a better view of the little narrow streets ways. It’s near one of the most famous avenue and it’s a short walking distance to a Metro station. Catarina de host made us feel at home. Thanks

We had a great stay. I read a review mentioning a loud bar nearby and it was simply untrue. The noise was similar to anything else you will experience in an urban environment. If you would like to be immersed in the local culture of Lisbon, this place is for you. We had a great time. The apartment is near public transit and close to restaurants. Walking in Lisbon involves steep hills and stairs and getting to the apartment involves hills and stairs.

Exactly what we were hoping for when choosing this property. Full of authentic character in a vibrant, local neighbourhood and within easy walking distance to so many of the beautiful sights that Lisbon has to offer. Catarina was a gracious hostess and we loved learning about her long family history in the home. She also kindly gave us details when checking out about a special spot in the Algarve to visit (we did, so beautiful, thank you Catarina!) as we were heading to Albufeira for a week to finish our incredible first visit to Portugal.

Our family (2+2) was extremely happy with the choice, and we can only recommend the apartment. A very warm welcome by Catarina and excellent communication with her. Well-equipped apartment. Close to lively Avenida and Marques de Pombal, but on a quiet street, which means we had very good sleep. A few shops and many restaurants nearby and easy to get around. We stayed in Catarina's apartment for over a month and couldn't have been more pleased. She was an outstanding host in every way. She obviously loves Lisbon and does a lot to make sure your visit is as good as it can be. The apartment was very nice and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We liked the location which is minutes from the main avenue, Liberdade. Their are beautiful sights, attractions and parks in every direction that are within walking distance, including all of the main tourist attractions in old central Lisbon. There are also good restaurants, grocery stores and a laundromat that are within a block or two.

This flat was so gorgeous and in such a historic and beautiful neighborhood. My husband and I loved it so much. It was a little rowdy at night with a bar just downstairs and across the alleyway but it only made it more magical. There was no air conditioning which was hard on us with our 11-month old but with the windows open it was totally fine. We had to leave the apartment early because of a medical emergency but we would stay there again in a heart beat. Catarina was such a phenomenal host and really gave us everything we needed to have an even better stay. Thank you, Catarina!
