"This place gave us what we were expecting to have. To create memories and have our mom feel very loved and valued on her birthday trip. The house was so much better in person. Very clean. Anything we needed it was available. Very roomy. We have been to lake house’s before and spiders, insects are expected but the porch in the front and back were covered in webs. Wasps nest were everywhere in the back porch. The good thing we checked everything out to keep the kids away and avoid any ER visits....

We needed a place to stay that was close to Tarleton State University so we could attended several music recitals/concerts my son was participating in. Pefect place to "kill" time between concerts. "We very much enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. My 86 mother and I wanted to fish and this rental had easy access to a wonderful dock. Everything we needed was provided and more. The bedrooms are nice, 2 king beds a plus. The only missing upgrade would be in the bathroom in the front of the home. The shower is old and showerhead was way too short for anyone over 5’9. I did not go in the other bathroom so can’t speak to that one."

The hacienda was charming, the garden and pool were the relaxing break we were looking for, and the rural neighborhood was secluded while still being close enough to civilization to offer fun amenities."
