Good hotel in Linz

Very good location close to the city, clean and modern room. Good breakfast and fantastic good outdoor terrace for a drink in the afterenoon. cannot recommend the hotelrestaurant for dinner since my previous stay in summer, they had the same menu. Bed was hard in the, room seems as it missing the upper madrass. Otherwise a very good stay.

I arrived a little early and the hotel allowed me to check in early. The room I stayed in was in front of the elevator, so I heard the sound of the elevator opening and closing every time it came. Even though breakfast started at 6:30, hot food was not served until almost 7:00.

I would have given 5 Star but front desk personnel were not clear with parking. I was consistently getting charged hourly by error and front desk did not explain the rationale of the errors and were not patient. Customer service was below average and room was not ready by 2pm. I would not reserve this hotel again.

I want to say nice things about this place. It is in a great location and the on-site staff are amazing but it was a rather weak attempt at a 4-star hotel. Before arriving I wrote the company and asked about their TV and wi-fi and whoever answered me gave me totally wrong information. The wi-fi is open so I could have brought my google chrome and cast TV/movies. This would have been useful given that for 2 of the 4 days I was there it was so foggy outside that going out was just not worth the effort. The gym and spa facilities are still closed thanks to COVID (my stay was over the NYE 2022-2023) and the offsite gym is super pricey at 20 euro PER DAY! My room was ok but I have had far better for far less and, it looks and feels a bit outdated.

wahrscheinlich so schnell nicht wieder

Das Hotel ist gesamt schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. In meinem Zimmer z.B.: die Dusche (der Klassiker mit dem Brausekopf) oder der Aufzug (super klein) Den Ausschlag für meine schlechte Bewertung gibt aber die angekündigte "E-Ladestation". Die ist ein schlechter Scherz. Man muss zuerst ein Konto eröffnen um dann Laden zu können. Es werden keine gängigen Ladekarten genommen. Auch die "Aufpreispolitik" wirkt sich nicht positiv aus. Zum Zimmerpreis (der OK ist) kommt noch die Garage mit 19,00 Euro/Tag, dafür wird das Bett nicht gemacht und nicht Aufgeräumt weil die Kosten dafür für Bienen gespendet wird.
