"We arrived late at night (close to mid-night), so it had a dark-alley feel to it. But once there was daylight and you see the community and the day-to-day hustle and bustle, you realize that it's a wonderful community. A lot of senior citizens walking about, it feels very safe and carefree. (at night though, everyone was sleeping, we had no idea what to expect). A shoutout to the hotel manager, Benjamin Beck, I would NOT be surprised if he gets poached by another hotel -- this guy is ACES! Sincere, Professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, just the consummate hotel manager. He is a good soul. Actually, he is the soul of the hotel. Some tips... 1) If you will be arriving late at night, be sure to call the hotel and make sure that they have the keys in their safebox outside (they'll email you with key code). 2) If you're driving there you'll need parking. The hotel is part of a very large plaza. So their subterranean parking entrance is at Wilhelmstrasse, you enter under ground and just go straight all the way, it's about 2 blocks of driving underground, look for the hotel montana section. There will be a gate and you need a key to get it. So you'll have to either check-in first and get your key or get your key from the safebox in order to open the gate. Note: there is a button you can press once inside the gate, it's about 20 feet or so across from the gate. The hotel is in Troisdorf, not Cologne. Also, there's no AC and the sliding doors to the shower stall might "

"IHG has the right formula for comfortable stay for reasonable price point. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but comfortable overall. Location was quiet. "

"Easy parking, kaufland and lidl nearby, comfort bed. Minus: no staff after 8pm, make sure you checkin before 8pm. I will sure choose this hotel again for my future trips."
