We stayed here before our early flight at CGN airport. It's a good hotel, advise calling or contacting ahead of time to get the parking situation explained -- you drive into a mall parking garage, which is good, but otherwise you wind up parking in the area and walking to the hotel. Highly recommended.

The hotel was locked in the afternoon until 5pm and while this was in the policy section on their listing it wasn't in the check in section. Had I known I wouldn't have booked there. Grubby looking place lacking investment. Never again

Key supposed to be left in key box for arrival in morning but was not left. Phoned to question where key was got told had to wait until 3pm until someone arrived at reception. Then arrived at 3pm got key headed to room and it was still getting cleaned and told had to wait another 30 mins. Had plans for afternoon that we couldn’t goto due to no where for bags to go. Complained to reception and the woman kept telling us to smile. Would not return.

We arrived late at night (close to mid-night), so it had a dark-alley feel to it. But once there was daylight and you see the community and the day-to-day hustle and bustle, you realize that it's a wonderful community. A lot of senior citizens walking about, it feels very safe and carefree. (at night though, everyone was sleeping, we had no idea what to expect). A shoutout to the hotel manager, Benjamin Beck, I would NOT be surprised if he gets poached by another hotel -- this guy is ACES! Sincere, Professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, just the consummate hotel manager. He is a good soul. Actually, he is the soul of the hotel. Some tips... 1) If you will be arriving late at night, be sure to call the hotel and make sure that they have the keys in their safebox outside (they'll email you with key code). 2) If you're driving there you'll need parking. The hotel is part of a very large plaza. So their subterranean parking entrance is at Wilhelmstrasse, you enter under ground and just go straight all the way, it's about 2 blocks of driving underground, look for the hotel montana section. There will be a gate and you need a key to get it. So you'll have to either check-in first and get your key or get your key from the safebox in order to open the gate. Note: there is a button you can press once inside the gate, it's about 20 feet or so across from the gate. The hotel is in Troisdorf, not Cologne. Also, there's no AC and the sliding doors to the shower stall might

Super Lage. Verlässt man das Hotel ist man direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Dort gibt es eine Menge an Restaurants und Geschäften. Das Personal ist freundlich und steht einen bei Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Ausstattung der Möbel/Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Badezimmer könnte renoviert werden. Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt war das Hotel allerdings perfekt und wir werden wiederkommen.

Les horaires de réception sont très limités: pas d'arrivée après 18h mais également fermé de 12h (voire 11h30) jusqu'à 15h. Les personnes gérant le petit-déjeuner ne semble pas impliquées, il a fallu l'intervention du réceptionniste pour avoir de l'eau chaude pour le thé. Les équipements (salle de bain) semblent vieillots mais sont fonctionnels, la literie est bonne, la chambre un peu petite mais le quartier (piéton) est très calme et à deux pas de la gare!

Positiv: Gute Lage, viele Restaurants in der Nähe, nicht so weit vom Troisdorf-Bahnhof (ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg), freundliches Personal. Negativ: Veralteter Teppich mit vielen Schmutzflecken, der letzte Gast vor mir hat schmutzigen Spuren im Klo hinterlassen, so dass ich es mit Klobürste reinigen musste. Reserviert war ein Einzelzimmer mit Single-Bett. Für eine Nacht war es für mich ok. In der Zukunft würde ich mir aber lieber ein anderes Hotel ansehen.

Obwohl bekannt war dass der Aufzug defekt war hat man uns in der 3. Etage untergebracht, somit mussten wir mit dem gesamten Gepäck die Treppe hoch laufen. Und als wenn das nicht schon genug Zumutung ist, war es trotz Heizung bitter kalt und machte es uns nicht gerade leicht zu schlafen.
