"The cottage is very well laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee grinder, slow cooker, air fryer, mixer, blender. Lots of dishes glassware and silverware. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and listening to the birds. It was a very relaxing week."

"My family of 4 enjoyed this quaint house during our stay in the mountains. Our only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer! The narrow roads in the neighborhood made my husband a little nervous, but thankfully we never met anyone on the road. Loved the view from the deck and the two living spaces."

"Truly a cottage feel, great common area with fireplace, river view from deck outside was awesome. Several areas to choose from to relax in and out of cottage. Walking distance to lake, river, and trails. Great experience, will be going back for sure!"

"This is the perfect little cottage. We didn't really have any expectations, but my grandson loved playing outdoors in the stream and on the property. It is close to town and the grocery store. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. I loved looking at the lightning bugs at night and the beautiful sky. The inside was very clean and exactly what we were looking for."

"There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. "

"We enjoyed this place so much! The listing was 100% accurate. The place was very clean. An older property but has been renovated with several modern conveniences. My husband & I with our 3 children were comfortable the whole time. The community is very quiet & felt very safe! Beautiful area & great place for the kids to play! Would love to stay here again!"

"The cabin is great and just as described and written about in previous reviews. Was closing to giving it 4 star review as it is odd for having a queen bed in the main bedroom (when the rest of the house was build for very tall people) and no shower downstairs for the two other rooms, but overall enough to keep at 5 stars. Just be aware of both before renting, but worth the stay. Will come back for sure though."

"We absolutely recommend Danna's Cozy Cabin!! We were visited by deer daily. Quiet, everything extremely clean and inviting! Communication with host very nice about everything and our reason for stay. You can't go wrong with booking this cabin. Hot tub AWESOME and very clean. Loved our time there and will rebook."

"Cute, quiet and peaceful. This house is not secluded but it sure feels like it when sitting on back porch listening to the river. There are not a lot of bells and whistles but what it does offer is relaxation. Taking a nice soaking bath, sitting down by the river or just waiting patiently for your burgers to grill, this small space delivers a big memory. Thomas and Mimi"

"We enjoyed the place -- it is well set up for a mountain stay. Wood is indeed beautiful. Kitchen is great. Appreciated the various apps on the TV. Great location, very quiet except for the nearby construction. We would recommend you not go in cool -- or most definitely cold -- months. The place doesn't have central heat, which is fine, but the heaters it does have are simply not sufficient to keep the house warm. Not pleasant to come home to. "We had a wonderful stay at Sitting Bear Cottage! It was a very comfortable stay and great for our family with small children. The location was great and we even enjoyed a few inches of snow. I would stay at this cottage again!"

"The best thing about this house was the river! Loved sitting on the deck enjoying the river. House was very clean. Noise from the road was disconcerting— cars fly down that road. Regardless of the noise, still enjoyed the stay."
