Both the surroundings and interior were clean and tidy. The lighting in the room was sufficient, however the bathroom vanity area was lacking. The light within the mirror was insufficient. There was a decent range of foods on the menu both in drinks and meal choices. The frequency of the shuttle service to the airport was good. The reception staff was efficient and helpful both at check in and assisting you with your luggage and arranging taxi pick up. Overall The Radisson RED got 4.5 stars out of 5. It is quite adequate as a layover hotel that puts you in close proximity to Gatwick Airport."
