"Captain Bill's Guest House was a wonderful choice for us. We wanted to go hiking at the various state parks in the area and there were several excellent ones nearby. After a full day of hiking we were able to go back and relax by the pool. I have never seen a more beautifully landscaped pool area. It was truly amazing! There was lots of shade if you did not want to be in the heat of the sun or you could get full sun if you wanted.Uncle Bill was extremely friendly! At first we were a bit nervous about sharing the pool area with other guests and the owner but Uncle Bill and the other guests were very welcoming and we enjoyed visiting with them.A fantastic choice!"
"We wanted a couple of days somewhere that wasn’t too far from home but made us feel as though we were, and that is EXACTLY what we got! We began our weekend by entering a BEAUTIFUL A-frame house with amply space and gorgeous furnishings. There were even 3 patios: one off of the main room, one off of an upstairs bedroom, and a large patio off of the master bedroom. This was the nicest, cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. As if this beautiful space wasn’t enough, we walked a few steps up the driveway to the cherry on top of this rental. Inside the privacy fence, we found the most spectacular pool experience EVER. The pool was PERFECT (water temp. was SPOT ON), and the amenities were endless. The decor, comfy couches and chairs, and pool created an outstanding oasis that we never wanted to leave… but leave we did to explore nearby Cataract Falls. The falls were so serene and mesmerizing. They are a must! Our wonderful weekend was complete because of our VERY GRACIOUS hosts, Bill and Becky. They were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They even spent some extra time with us helping us to explore the falls. We really can’t say enough about their warm hospitality. Book with Becky and Bill! You’ll be glad you did!"
"The view is amazing! We caught so many fish and enjoyed other wildlife that the area had to offer. I was especially impressed with the amenities! Extra towels, on site washer/dryer, fire pit, plenty of throw blankets and extra linen...we've stayed in places with far less that cost far more. The hot tub was an added bonus that we enjoyed each evening. Only issue was inability to always get wireless internet, which interfered with television access, but there was so much to see and do, it wasn't really an issue. We brought our pups, and they had a blast as well. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage!"
