For example, every year a Carnival festival is organised in the city. There are also numerous interesting cultural sights, such as the Pont-Neuf de Limoux. This ancient bridge dates back to the 18th century AD. Remnants of various fortifications from the 14th century are also visible in several places in the city. The Notre-Dame de Marceille basilica is also definitely worth a visit. Limoux is a good base for a wonderful holiday in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. From the garden, you have views of several mountain ranges, including the sacred mountain Pic de Bugarach.
