"Our 10 day stay in this lovely loft apartment was indeed rewarding! We wished to be close to the Canal and the Locks and we were only a 10 min drive away. The beautiful surroundings of the Embassy Club, of which this Loft is a part of...was a bonus! Waking up to bird song every morning...walks about the area...I was literally birdwatching from the balcony! Coming back to the Loft after a day’s touristing was sheer bliss!! The pools were most enjoyed....all the facilities at our fingertips was...

"The furnishings are worn. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children. The house is only a few metres from a busy main road with noisy traffic. The beach is unattractive. The water is too shallow for swimming. And the house is NOT in the “historic centre” of Portobelo, which is several kilometres away and consists of the ruins of a fort and a church. We were so disappointed we left after one night."
