"Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rating a 4 star because there is no elevator, nor a hair dryer in our room. They did offer to take all of our things upstairs for us before we finished checking in. Room was very clean and comfortable, precisely what we were seeking in our price range."

"This is an excellent boutique style hotel. The rooms are well appointed and a good size with really comfortable beds. The staff is excellent and even helped us to sort out some options for travelling to our next destination. Breakfast was excellent. Our only regret was that they were only and availability for one night and not 2."

"A very nice place to stay, especially as we were in the old part of the property which has loads of character. We had a big, comfortable room with sitting area. I particularly liked that the TV was hidden away behind doors so did not intrude it's presence into the room. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is first rate. One down side is that, surprisingly, there is no kettle in the room and ordering hot water or tea from downstairs is tedious and inconvenient. The other minor issue that we had was that the option I chose to book specifically included free parking which implies that there would be parking reserved for me as it was include in my room description. This turned out not to be the case and the small car park was already full. This all got sorted out by the helpful front of house people but it was another irritation that took the shine off a very pleasant visit."
