"The house was exceptionally beautiful and in traditional keeping with the Mani architecture. Extremely quiet and remote with fabulous views. Great exploring and the most important for us was the wild flowers - exceptional in April. The house is very cosy and well equipped and even broadband is available despite it's remoteness. Jokke and Tonno were great hosts with easy and helpful communication. Gythio, the local town is about 30mins away (supermarkets, tavernas, petrol station etc). No local...

The only drawback we found was that in order to walk into Stoupa for meals in the evening you have to walk a stretch (about 100 metres) on the main road - we did not like this. And no solution for washing machine which we were counting on as this was our midpoint stay on a two week trip. Also there were people around the property during the day cleaning the outside which was not very private and guests (?) in the upstairs and balcony so not an exclusive property which you might want to...

"Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic. "
