"Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Ollantayambo. We stayed in a ‘bungalow’ which was on 2 floors. Kingsize bed with bathroom and seating area upstairs and double bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs and very nicely furnished with good views over the countryside. There was a small kitchen area with a microwave but bizarrely no crockery or cutlery. Kettle and teabags supplied but no coffee(!) Set in expansive gardens with alpacas wandering freely around. Comfortable room but beware the train...

"The grounds are stunning! Beautiful cabin porch, saw the stars at night in privacy, enjoyed a little campfire. The restaurant offered fresh food and great service. The only issue was our room had 2 bedroom which basically took up the entire cottage. Not their fault - mine as there were not as many available. The hot water was an issue as it took a long time. My husband never got any after I was done. (Which was ridiculous as I took a short one.) Other than that not issues. I would not...

"We have a wonderful vacation with family. Great place"

"I really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. With a lot of beautiful views all around. I had used the spa services (jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, and a massage) and they exceeded my expectations. The waitstaff at the restaurant were kind and attentive. And, I tried a lamb shank with mashed yucca and it was flavorful and delicious. The included breakfast also had a great assortment...

"Royer was great! He got us to the train station and made sure we saw the town before we boarded for Machu Pic"

"It was a cool looking hotel. I felt the staff weren’t too helpful though. They didn’t really make us feel like home. The restaurant was okay, a bit slow. Didn’t have time to check out the pool. Our room was big, and the blanket was definitely warm. Hot shower. Great. My favourite thing was the observatory experience with David Rivas Romero. This is only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (I think) so we got lucky as we were okay there one night. Worth it. He was so nice and educational. We’ve never...

"Great place to stay with friendly staff, recommend."

"Great location just far enough from the main square, quiet and peaceful! Wonderful host. Our time is this beautiful city will always be remembered we hope to come back eventually!"

"Loved the location and the view from the terrace WOW ! For the breakfast you will have the basics. The staff is super helpful and friendly !"

"Good location right in the middle of everything. Walkable to Ollantaytambo train station, main square, restaurants, shops and the archaeological site. Basic hotel, large room. Ok breakfast nothing fancy. Nice and helpful staff but speak limited English. Reasonable price."

"Stan and his wife were very helpful on planning our activities to archaeological sites. The breakfast was great and the location was close to main plaza and train station. Also price was affordable. Thank you for the great service."

"great"

"Staff were excellent, breakfast was excellent, clean room"

"The Stardome was truly an amazing experience, beginning with the staff, petting zoo, rooms, spiritual ceremony, observatory, food and location. This is a must stay when visiting Ollantaytambo."

"We booked a quadruple room with a 2nd floor (like a loft) for 4 people in Oct 2026. Two double beds on ground floor and two twins on loft. My adult children tried to sleep on the upper deck but was too hot. The room has no AC but without screens on the sliding door, opening them to sleep drew in lots of bugs. So the 4 of us ended up sleeping on 2 double beds, which was tight. Otherwise, the amenities in the room were fine. The buffet breakfast selection was reasonable. You can made to order eggs...
