"Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice."

"The villa was located in a very peaceful location we stayed as a family group of 8 and overall had a great stay although there were positives and negatives. Positives Lovely pool, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and outdoor terrace. Negatives Not much in the local area without a long drive, not enough sun beds. The fourth bedroom is the lounge with no air con. Air con not working in main bedroom and the agent was unable to fix this so uncomfortable sleeping. We had a good holiday but would...

"Giacomo and Liliana's estate house has an old world charm with modern appliances and furnishings. The exterior area is expansive with fabulous mountain vistas of the surrounding Appenines. Giacomo and Liliana were great hosts: friendly, communicative and very attentive to all of our family. They are super hosts! "We had a great holiday.The house is beautiful and very comfortable.We enjoyed very much the privacy of the swimming pool.The area in the mountains and small villages are beautiful. The owner is very friendly and helped us also with the luggage as our car does not fit in de small street. We had a wonderful time!"

"Our stay was wonderful. The house is in a very nice and quiet space. We would love to come back. Due to the hot weather it was very warm in the nights. So we had to buy two fans for ventilation. The house owner gave us the money back - thanks for that. Now there is an oportunity to have air ventilation in hot nights ;-) You have to know that it is on the top of a mountain - so it always take a little bit longer to reach if you plan day trips. But we knew it and we really enjoyed our stay"

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "

"What a find! We went as a large family group, so to have separate apartments for each individual family worked out perfectly for us. Their accommodation was well equipped immaculately clean and comfortable.Some of our part of a clean cyclist, so to any cyclist it’s an absolute Mecca, but you have to like hills! "
