"We arrived slightly early and the staff were more than happy for us to check in. I had messaged to explain that it was a birthday surprise trip for my partner and they had done lovely little extras which was such a lovely and kind gesture. We had food at the pub which was very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The host (unsure of her name but had red hair) was so helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much of an ask for them. I was dreading the shared bathroom as I didn’t realise when I booked but we were the only guests so had it to ourselves. The breakfast was fabulous and very tasty. Overall we would 1000% stay here again and we have already told all our family and friends about it. So welcoming and friendly. Very homely and we can’t wait to return next time. Thank you so much for a lovely stay and going the extra mile for us. "

"Lovely place to stay. We actually added another 2 nights it was so relaxing. Elenor on reception was very helpful. Only criticism was the food in restaurant wasn’t up to much, staff didn’t know whose table ordered what. We were told not to start eating in case it was someone else’s! Total lack of staff, that’s my only complaint. Could never get through on the phone, just rang off the hook."

"Great stay, had a few issues to start with for the app and digital keycard but receptionists was lovely to help. Good size rooms with very comfortable bed. Loved the ghd straighteners and dyson hair dryer and best shower ever! "

"There was no AC in the room which was a bit of a problem for us while sleeping as it was summer otherwise great location, great property, great staff, very spacious rooms. "
