"A very helpful and friendly host. The accommodation is in need of uprading. The external furniture was of poor quality plastic or old wood without any pads. There were no parasols. The waste disposal arrangements are inadequate. Air conditioning should be installed upstairs as a minimum. The steps up to the town are overgrown and totally unlit. This is not Lucio's fault but he should accurately describe the situation. The property has great potential. Lucio is a superb host"

"This is a great location for anybody looking to explore the south east corner of Sicily. We were two families - each with 3 kids - and they were able to accommodate all of us. Pool is incredible! We used this place a home base to explore the beaches, Modica, Noto, and Syracuse. Need a car to get here. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful holiday at Paolo's villa. It is a real gem of a house with a wonderful pool, and great views right over the countryside towards Syracuse and the coast. The pool was exceptional and the shallow end was perfect for children. They loved it. Check in was smooth and Paolo was very helpful and quick with communication. "Elio welcomed us with a magnificent spread of local delicacies and a bottle of wine. The villa itself is comfortable, well laid out and well decorated. Lovely pool and many different areas of the garden to enjoy. Of special note is the BBQ area, tucked away down steps to a lower part of the garden. A great place to while away the evening."
