I was fortunate to be able to take a long arm quilting class with nationally know quilt instructor Angela Walters during my stay. Her class was amazing and I visited her quilt shop called Quilting is my Therapy in downtown Liberty. Worth a trip!

We stumbled on their historic downtown just east of the highway. Worth the 5 minute drive. Got some BBQ and a brew.

We found a good BBQ place (3Halves Brewing) and a good coffee shop (Hammerhand) in the morning.
" My family has stayed here before and we'll stay here again. The pool is great fun and designed for all ages to enjoy. I appreciate the separate area for little ones, and then, of course, there's the slide. If the kids have energy to burn at the end of the day, send them down the slide a few times. I admit I enjoyed it myself.
We had a king suite this time, and I think that's what we'll stick with. The room was spacious and we took advantage of the refrigerator and the microwave for late night snacking. Vending machines are by the pool, but there are grocery and convenience stores nearby. There's also a large shopping area with several restaurants about two miles up the road.
We enjoyed the free breakfast and had fun making our own waffles. 8am seemed to be the busiest, so I recommend arriving earlier. The two gentlemen in the kitchen were a lot of fun, interacting with diners frequently. They made sure we had everything we needed.
The cleaning staff are exceptional. They're friendly, ready to help, and so polite!
Front desk staff is knowledgeable about local events and things to do and see. They will bend over backwards to ensure guest's comfort and safety.
We'll be back in September without the kids and we're looking forward to staying here.
