Et avstressende sted, selv om vi kom litt nรฆre utbruddet til vulkanen Taal. Vi hadde det fint der. Rommet vรฅrt var nok litt preget av tidens tann, med en stรธyende mekanisk aircondition, men ellers ok, selv om vi ble litt overrasket over รฅ lese de strenge romreglene med dertil bรธter for overtredelser. Matabungkay er et sted der filipinerne selv ferierer, og der likte ogsรฅ vi oss!

Customer service was lacking with the lady at check out. She ignored my question and was rude. Maintenance was very helpful to fix issues related to my room. Service at the restaurant and bellboy service was nothing to write home about.

Matabungkay has established itself as part of Lian's heritage. It has been around for years and has been itself a regal reputation. Though the place looks a little dated, it keeps the Philippine heritage alive and well.

The deluxe room we asked for was basic and should have been a lot cheaper, and we demanded a change. We were still charged most of the cost for the original room, NO SIGN OF GOODWILL! We took 9 family members to this over-rated resort, and NONE WERE IMPRESSED. Our advice, give this place a serious MISS!

For a wonderful getaway

Staff are friendly and polite. Fast check-in (maybe because we came in a weekday and lean season). Rooms are clean and well prepared. The breakfast we had is plated and it tastes good. Water activities are at a reasonable price too

The service was good, but activities were hard to schedule and the location was difficult to get to. We wanted to dive, but they werenโ€™t available for a discover scuba, and we wanted to get massages but the availability was limited for both the massage and sauna times.

annoying staff

we booked for three family room(villa) and the front staff still trying to charge us for additional payment for children. unbelievable. will never go back to this hotel again.
