The best about the property though was the kindness of the owner Yiannis. He is so personable, caring, and generous with his time. "The views from the hotel are breathtaking! The location is perfect for enjoying all of Syros, especially Asteria Beach. If you want loungers at Asteria, reserve in advance. We had two sea view rooms in the historic building for three nights. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The bar was great for drinks before going to dinner and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The mattresses were stiff, which is the only minor complaint. Highly recommend!"

One of the highlights each morning was the breakfast. There was a variety of fresh, healthy, and delicious options, with something different to enjoy every day. It was the perfect way to start each morning. The location couldn’t have been better. The hotel is just steps from a beautiful sandy beach with clean, calm water that was ideal for swimming and relaxing. The surrounding town was peaceful and quiet, offering an authentic, laid-back atmosphere without the crowds. There were many dining options. Every evening, we were treated to breathtaking sunsets right by the water. Most of all, the staff made our stay truly special. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway with comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast, stunning sunsets, and outstanding service in a tranquil setting, this hotel is an excellent choice.
