"We stayed over for one night only, the lodge is much bigger than the photos show, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We went to raby castle playground and Deer park nearby which was a great hit for our boys age 7&10, then back for a relax."

"Excellent location, set back from any main roads. Extremely peaceful but exactly what you need for a weekend away. Pond outside of the cabin made it gorgeous for a lovely drink in the morning to start the day. Scott was a fantastic host and extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a few days while visiting the Yorkshire Dales. The location is good for hiking right outside the door or an easy drive to other public footpaths and quaint English towns. There is a co-op grocery store just a few miles away where we were able to get supplies for our stay. The owners were kind enough to have cereal, milk, bread, and jam for our arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were visiting the national park again. It had everything...

"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. "We had a wonderful break at Westbrook House. The cottage worked really well for us and views both from the back and front of the house were stunning. There is plenty to do and walks directly from the house. Farm shops and tearooms and little towns to explore as well as hills to climb are in abundance. There is a local pub a short walk away. We particularly enjoyed the garden and listening to the birds. The house was well equipped and Phil provided all the information we needed for a great stay....
