Lovely relaxing stay

Well equipped, very comfortable - especially the beds. Lovely to sit on the deck watching the wildlife on the lake. Also enjoyed kayaking on a couple of the mornings before it got too warm. Would definitely like to return soon.

Pre-thanksgiving visit with family

Wanted a quiet place to get away while visiting family. We enjoyed the views and back deck and appreciated being able to have our two dogs with us on the trip.

Perfect lake house for family

We had a wonderful time! The location was perfect. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding right off the dock! We will look to stay again!

Loved it !!!

The home was super clean and tidy with tasteful decor. We took the kayaks out several times to see the baby Great Blue Herons at the end of the cove. We had a goose family visit every day. Just could not have been better. Highly recommend this place.

Getaway on the lake

Beautiful home! We came down with friends and stayed at another vrbo and decided to stay another night so we booked this one. We all wished we could have had our whole trip here. Beautiful view and a lovely home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Weekend getaway

We had to be out of our house for the weekend and are so glad we found this house. Very tranquil, relaxed setting. Enjoyed using the kayaks and sitting on the dock. Very responsive owner! Thanks!!

Beautiful home on our favorite lake!

This house on High Rocks is beautiful inside and out. Communication with host was easy. The house is very clean and has all the necessities. I would recommend bringing extra towels if you are someone who likes to use more than one, and they do not provide any beach towels, so bring those too! All in all, we had a great, relaxing stay!

Relaxing

House was beautiful, but was a jungle balmy 81 degrees, took 4 hours to cool. Shower curtains dirty and moldy so i washed them myself. I found a frying pan full of grease in cabinet, that was over looked . Floors underneath the beds needed a good cleaning as well , saw when i tried to get a toy that had rolled underneath. I am a animal lover, but having 3 stay cats at the property begging for food was sad, one was pregnant and had her babies while we were there . If the house had a little more attention from the owner it would make future guests happier 😊

Great fun weekend

The property was very clean and situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We had everything we needed, and more. Rikky was great at communicating with us about everything before and during our stay. We would stay here again!

Nice but short

We had requested an early checkin, because we were there for a family wedding and needed to get ready for rehearsal at 4. Property manager made every effort to get us in early, but the entry code didn’t work. By the time we communicated to get in, it was after 3 pm. I really think for a weekend, 4 pm is a late checkin, especially considering checkout time is 11am on Sunday. Very nice accommodations, but it was a short stay!

Great lakeside property!

Rikky has really put together a nice location for anyone look for a quick stay or a long week of vacationing. My family and I enjoyed the spacious living area as well as the beautiful back deck, overlooking the lake. The dock is perfect for laying out in the sun and for swimming. Rikky was also very responsive with questions and recommendations in the area. A+ stay!

Very clean nice house.

The house is very nice, with a dock on the lake. There is room to park truck with boat an 2 other vehicles in driveway. The driveway is steep and hard to back into with boat trailer. There is no place to unhook trailer from truck, which we had another couple with us, so when we went anywhere besides fishing we rode with them. The cove that the house is in catches the flow of main river and stays at best stained all the time. Overall it's a nice stay on the lake. We would recommend this house for a vacation.

We had a great time being able to relax and enjoy the house. We loved being in the water and getting to kayak across the lake. I was able to have a beautiful background to my proposal to my girlfriend. The owners were amazing in every way.

Great getaway

Home was perfect and had everything you could possibly need. Everything was updated and so spacious, so the dogs had plenty of room. The boat dock was a huge added bonus so we could bring our boat and tie it up every night. The host was amazing with recommendations and helping us out the first day we arrived. Perfect spot and will be back again!

This home was immaculately stated and very comfortable. After a day out of activities around High Rock Lake and Lake Norman, THIS is the place you want to come and relax in. Great communication and so many amenities, we could not take advantage of them all. Will stay again.
