"Clean facility in the countryside close to restaurants and downtown Lexington. The pool was a bit overwhelmed with kids so we never got to try it. The breakfast area was small for such a large hotel and the tables were all full when we arrived. Additional seating was roped off and we thought we would have to move barriers. The staff didn’t seem aware that the room was overfull. We did get a table at the last second."

"The building is oh so cool! And it's nestled blocks from Washington and Lee and in the heart of historic Lexington. We arrived too late in the afternoon to enjoy the nearby shops, but we look forward to doing that on our next trip (this was strictly an overnight, pass-through stay). However, there was a very distinct, unpleasant smell in the lobby when we arrived. In talking with other guests, we weren't the only ones who noticed it. Thankfully, the smell didn't permeate into the room. The room was comfortable enough, but it wasn't meticulous. One of our drawers was broken, some age/wear/dust on the shoemolding, etc ... but nothing that would make us not want to stay there again. The pillows were AMAZING! One thing missing that would have been nice to have would be a dorm/hotel-sized fridge in the room. We travel with medicine that needs to be refrigerated, and this would have been helpful."

"Check in was quick and friendly. We had our dog so we were put in one of the designated "pet rooms"; that made me a little worried that it would be dirty, but it wasn't at all! Room, bed, linens, and bathroom were all spotless. The fridge and microwave were good to have as well. The pet relief area was right outside our room, equipped with pick up bags and a trashcan. We'd definitely stay here again if in the area!"
