"This property was so quaint and beautiful, located close enough to Catskill downtown shopping and a farm stand and brewery, yet surrounded by quiet and restful woods. It's nestled in the Catskill Mountains with a lovely pool, a guest kitchen, and play areas. The fireflies even came out for me to enjoy as the sun set! The rooms are huge and neatly kept, the bathroom is scrupulously clean, and the staff is kind and friendly. "

"Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice. I would stay here again! I recommend getting a room facing the mountain, it is worth the upgrade. The only two issues were 1. The couch in the room was the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on. It was aesthetically nice for the room but rock hard. 2. The breakfast didn’t include any gluten free options. As someone who has to be GF, it would have been nice to have an option for breakfast without having to leave the hotel. Otherwise, it was great. Everyone working there was nice and professional. "

The chef hits it out of the park, creative and expertly prepared and freshly sourced. "This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. The new owner was on site and he’s proud of what he has there as he should be, I’ve been all over this country and never been to such a relaxing place. He plans to open a restaurant soon within the hotel. The bedrooms have been complete renovated. Brand new everything. Bed is very comfortable and the linens are high end. If you need anything the staff has got you covered. Make sure to book a room with a view of the valley to see the beautiful sunrise, however if those are booked you will still have an amazing view from the great room. They served coffee fruit and tea bread in the great room for breakfast. It’s the little touches that really matter We will definitely be back! This place is a MUST stay!! "
