"We had a wonderful stay at this property. There was a group of 10 of us, all senior citizens, and the property was perfect. The property owner was very responsive, answered all questions and even gave us info regarding things going on in the area. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially families during the winter. Wonderful Places to do some sledding right on the property!"

"We had the best time for a long weekend getaway! Brought some floaties to swim in the lake! The dogs loved the sandy beach! Played some corn hole during the day and campfires at night. Surprisingly the cabin stayed cool during the 80+ degree weather. Although we didn't stay inside very often, it was very comfortable. Just what we needed for some relaxation!"

"My dad and I stayed for a couple days at the Brookie cabin. Was a superb spot for us to home-base out of while we fished the Au Sable. Cabin was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities one would need for a fishing getaway. I even caught a fish out n front of the cabin with my grandfathers antique fly rod set up. "

"The cabin was unclean. Cobwebs everywhere dead flowers in a vase near the kitchen. All four corner of the shower had large cob webs in them. Dead bugs in the bathroom sink. AND THE SMELL!!! Mold or mildew or just plain gross! If the cabin had been sanitary all be it small it would have been an enjoyable stay. The host who lives 20 feet from the front door has "junk" piled up between the buildings. Surprised VRBO put their name to this cabin."

"Small, rustic cabin with close access to lake. Perfect for a fishing/hunting weekend. I actually took the trip for a creepy solo getaway specifically for Friday the 13th weekend and I loved it. Host was awesome and always responded to my messages and went out of her way to make the stay even more fun and spooky for me. Would definitely stay again but definitely not for everyone, as it is very rustic and best suited for smaller groups or solo."

"I stayed with 11 cousins and the bunk beds and living room really gave it a summer camp feel. There are also trundle beds under the bunk beds which we couldn’t tell in the pictures and they can be moved around. The weather was cold but the water felt great (although it’s a bit mucky). The house is much closer to other houses than it looks, but nobody was staying at them so it was okay. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because there were only 4 rolls of toilet paper provided for 12...
