"Stayed 2 nights. Walkable to the beach both the public area and the private clubs where you can rent an umbrella/cabana. Beach is sand (gets very hot - need flip flops or water shoes). Drivable to grocery store and other small towns. It’s like being in a resort (apparently it used to be a hotel). Great views."

"This was a great place to stay, situated in a small village just outside Lucca. Roomy and nicely furnished. We had the top floor apartment which had access to two balconies.Excellent value, lots of traditional style. A microwave and an electric kettle would have made it perfect."

"The apartment was a good size and in a good location, close to the beach, nice restaurants and 15 mins from the station. It was clean and bright but the kitchen was a bit more tired than we expected. There were no wine glasses or sharp knives. The air conditioning was great. The noise of the road was a little loud at night. The terrace was cool."

"I would have rated the overall stay as 5 stars, but it just needs some information on how to use the appliances. Great location , lots of room for a 2 bedroom apartment, clean with everything you need. Easy walk into centre of town with lots of bars and restaurants. There are 4 restaurants just outside the front door"

"We were glad we stayed here, it is easy walking distance to trains and buses, we found the place to be lovely, clean and tidy ~ we would be happy to recommend to travellers looking for accomodation, especially at such a reasonable rate. Overall, a great place to stay."

"A perfectly located, clean and comfortable apartment! Just steps away from all that Lucca has to offer, but quiet nonetheless. It’s an ideal space for one or two people. Communication with the host was convenient and easy.. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"This was the perfect location to stay for a retreat and also for a day trip into Cinque Terre. We won’t get over being driven in a cart to and from the parking lot down a charming rock wall lined street. It’s the most magical entry to a hotel we’ve ever experienced. Their customer service is exceptional, going above and beyond in every way. We were greeted with a welcome drink and given complimentary DELICIOUS snacks by the pool. The view at breakfast was the best we experienced in all of Italy. Looking into the Ligurian sea was beautiful. The spa was wonderful and available to us to use privately for an hour when it was not in use. What a treat! Sauna, steam room relaxation areas with a freshly prepared treat made by the chef waiting for us. Two nights was not enough to enjoy this beautiful property! Laura gave us recommendations on how to enjoy Cinque Terre and local restaurants, plus graciously answered any of our questions. We loved meeting her!"

"The staff were very helpful and engaging. The breakfast was incredible, and the service and food were excellent. The room was very nice and well appointed. Any issues (air conditioning, TV) were fixed immediately. Enjoyed the roof top bar and the location was one of the best on the promenade "

"Friendly meeting at reception, comfortable room, good air con, breakfast was very good, plenty choice. The pool area is well looked after and the pool although quite small is perfect for a cooling dip. All service was excellent, breakfast staff all friendly and helpful. Short walk to the city walls and some nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Carbone was our favourite. I definitely recommend this hotel."
