"We spent two nights here during our stay in the CT. The staff was wonderful : very accommodating, friendly and hospitable! The restaurant located in the hotel is exceptional! Every meal we had there was beautifully plated, tasted amazing and very authentic. We even saw the chef rolling out the gnocchi in the afternoon for dinner service. The rooms are a little dated and need some updating, but the pool is beautiful and location is convenient to the train station. Definitely call for the shuttle, because climbing that hill in July was BRUTAL! That was our fault for trying it though! Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and the restaurant is really worth the trip alone!"

"Locanda Valeria is a really lovely and hidden away place. Here are some things to note to manage expectations: You should only stay at this place if you lan on having a car and driving. Otherwise you will have to either walk down to train (which takes over an hour) or hire a cab company. The roads are very narrow. The breakfasts were lovely and plentiful and the rooms are beautifully restored and very, very clean. Would stay here again."

"It is a good location and an okay property, but it lacks character. The rooms are clean but are very blah! The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area felt like a makeshift location. I was expecting a bit more from a 4 star hotel."
