"It's not often you get to stay inside a walled 16 century castle, with the code for the gate. This is a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast is weak. We had our own kitchen and were 100 yards from all the local shops, so no worry The staff were very helpful (and nice) -they made great dinner reservations for us. If you want comfortable authenticity rather than high luxury this would be very hard to beat"

"It wasn’t easy to find, but at the same time, the location in Wise not only peaceful and comfortable, but it was an easy 25 minute drive to the Marco Polo Airport. Delia provided a warm welcome and introduced us to our spacious room and didn’t leave until she had taken our custom breakfast order. As promised, our meal was prepared and set before us on time and was delicious."

"This B & B was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and offered many choices. The room was clean and open. The taxi to the station was just 10 Euro or you can buy bus tickets for 1Euro and 30cents. It was very convenient."

"This is the best place you can stay. Beautiful surroundings, a good size room, very nicely done, and large bathroom. Hosts were wonderful, the continental breakfast perfect. Really could not expect any better. Note that this is a countryside inn so you either need a car or a local friend to take you around."

"Great stay on the very peaceful island of Burano that is a short water bus ride from Venice. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and eat in the Osteria Restaurant and order the five course entree. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. They accommodated as vegetarians. They make their own wine from grapes grown on the property and the meal was complimented with 4 wine pairings that were very unique. We return there every year for a night or two"

"We loved our accommodations with newly updated comfortable apartment in home. Simonetta was very helpful with navigation and finding the location off the Venice island. 20-25min bus ride from the busy city center in quiet safe neighborhood. We wished we could stay longer! If you want some thing away from the busyness to have some quiet time after this is the best place to stay. Still has places to eat nearby with supermarket in walking distance. Hosts are amazing and extremely helpful navigating...
