It was nice to have a washing machine available. It was a little hard to find at first because the GPS takes you to the wrong place, it’s a little further up the hill. "This is not a rating of the apartment, only a rating of our circumstance. We were not able to stay due to a communication problem. We arrived in the town and sent emails via VRBO to the owner. We waited for over 2 hours but didn’t get any response. We left then to find another place to stay. We found out the next day that the owner did not get our messages until an hour after we had already left. She apologized for the communication problems and was kind enough to refund our charges. "The apartment is located in a beautiful Medieval Village in the Aosta Valley at the base of the Bard Fortress. There is convenient parking with a few excellent restaurants within walking distance. Marta, the property manager, was very accommodating and responsive- we enjoyed spending time with her. The stairs to and in the apartment are challenging for older adults or handicapped.We thoroughly enjoyed our Piemonte stay. "
