"The apartment was spacious, it would have been comfortable for a family of four but there was just the two of us, consequently we had plenty of space.The bed was very comfortable and i liked the fact that there were matress and pillow protectors. Furniture was serviceable although dated and maybe could be refurbished quite easily with a coat of paint. The walls too would benefit from a coat of paint, and the staircase needed revarnishing. "Staff very kind and helpful, laundry and property very good.The problem it says 13 min walking from train station but it does not mention that it is walking up hill, caring a luggage for 20min. It is extremely tiring. But I believe all hotels are at the top of the hill. I would advise to get a taxi."

"One night stop over. Restaurant was excellent. Room was tired, and bathroom had dark mould on the ceiling. Was bed was very comfortable. We understand the hotel is under refurbishment, and our room was one still waiting to be done. "

"We received a wonderfully warm welcome from staff pursuing the highest standards of customer care and engagement. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location. "
