The house is superb, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the only downside was the weather so we didn't use the pool as much as we would have liked. "We spent two fantastic weeks at Dezie Manor Cottage at the beginning of June. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, full of character and spotlessly clean throughout. A fully equipped kitchen catered for almost every eventuality, allowing us to comfortably cook for a party of 5 and have the option of dining indoors or outside on the pool terrace. The barbecue was a welcome addition on the warmer evenings. Being set deep in the countryside allowed us to enjoy the tranquility of the location and its varied wildlife, especially around dusk. A well stocked supermarket and boulangerie were conveniently located within a 8-10 drive from the house. The information provided by Grant in advance of our arrival proved extremely useful and he remained discreetly on-hand throughout our stay to address any queries or issues that arose. Would throughly recommend."

"Plenty of space indoors and outdoors . Everything you would need for a family holiday. There were 8 adults and a 3 year old and a baby. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was great and we were shown how to operate the pool cleaning. Lots of outdoor seating made eating outdoors very pleasant. Our hosts were very helpful when we were unable to put up the cot. Good WiFi."

Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine. ."
