"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). "The B&B is 15-20 minutes by foot away from the city centre, public transport is available close by. We enjoyed the private atmosphere and the quirky/eclectic interior design, which gives the place a special atmosphere. Breakfast was great, with several (continental European / Frech) options. "What a wonderful chateau. No restaurant but plenty of tables to eat outside with your own picnic with plates and cutlery available free to use Some lovely walks around the area. And a pool to use. The hostess cannot be more helpful and the breakfast was a treat. Cannot recommend highly enough. "

"Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. Each room has its own private restroom and the decor takes you back in time as if you are visiting royalty. The estate is open to you for walks and cocktails on the patio. This is a must stay if you have the opportunity."

"Such a lovely place for our stop off on our way down to Valencia. Nice to relax by the pool while the children had a swim after a long drive.
