"I highly recommend The Hotel Royal Victoria - Ex British Embassy, Tunis, Tunisia, for any foreign traveler, not because it is centrally located (next to the Medina) and tour companies frequent this area, not because it is an historically important landmark, not because there are local restaurants within walking, not because all the internal woodworking - doors, ceilings, furniture was updated and all are hand painted by local Tunisian craftsman, not because of the fabulous breakfast buffet, but because of the STAFF! "My recent stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Tunis was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entirety of my visit. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sonia, Ichrak, Aya, and Ryad at the reception, as well as Diaa Eddine in the lounge for their outstanding service and unwavering support throughout my stay. In the lounge, Diaa Eddine's attentiveness and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable. However, I must express my disappointment with the breakfast staff. Despite the excellent variety offered at the buffet, the staff seemed inactive and inattentive. I consistently had to ask them to replenish items on the buffet, and tables were not cleared and reprepared unless prompted. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"This’s my second time I stay at this hotel. It’s nice and quiet place to stay and relax for a night or so. Very convenient if you have a flight next day. it’s 15 minutes away from the airport. I would recommend it for sure "
