I was able to ski to the outside of the building as well as being able to put my ski's on as soon as left the building. The nearest lift is just round the corner with the local Carrefour only a few minutes walk and a multitude of ski shops to hire your gear in the near vicinity. I was able to watch the sun set on the balcony which was a nice way to end each day.
