The plunge pool was refreshing and had a lovely vista of the hotel's rustic exterior. There were also nice communal areas to rest in the shade. The village itself is small, and is a place to slow down, have a drink in the plaza, and enjoy some authentic spanish food and wine at one of the 3 restaurants. "

Hotel is very conveniently located to visit Rioja's best bodegas. Staff are lovely and most helpful in arranging tours. Hotel has one minor deficiency in a curiously noisy plumbing system."

We used a parking garage in town, 10 mins walk away Everything needed is provided although we didn't have information for extra bedding for the sofa bed. Not a major issue and we did get help quickly. Not the most comfortable seating if you spend a long time in the apartment, we didn't as we did a lot of day trips. We cooked a few times and had everything we needed. "
