"We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. He helped us not only with an early check-in, but also helped us to organise an outstanding anniversary dinner with the best Italian wines, great food, and beautiful decorations. "The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."
