"we just stayed for one night at the Hostel in a bunk room that had a private bathroom and 3 beds, perfect for 3. It was a fabulous location, 1/2 block from the beach, 2 blocks from the ferry station and a block from the ado bus station - which is what we needed for an early airport departure. Easy check in and check out, friendly staff. Overall, given the proximity to the main promenade and nearby bars, it was actually quieter than I expected, too - though we kept the fan on all night that...

"This was my first time staying at a hostel and I have to say it was an amazing experience :-) first of all the location was perfect because it was literally in the heart of the street of the center of Playa del Carmen. "I was not expecting having to pay a rent fee and deposit for my towel. Which would have not be a problem as long as it was mentioned before booking. Employees had an attitude when I asked basics about the property, giving me very short to no answers. It was like I was supposed to know the place and how things work around there. Air conditioning was not working properly in the shared room (I complained about it and they were like... it works fine.😂😂😂) so I decided to upgrade to a private...
