"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sleeping Dog. The room was a good size and all the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was large and clean and perfect for self catering and there was a nice area to eat or chill. Breakfast pancakes went down a treat and the management and staff were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to all."

"The staff are lovely and very helpful. There are some areas for improvement, soundproofing is minimal, the pool isnt great and needs some attention, hot water in the shower and some touches like shampoo, free filtered water and fruit with breakfast would be nice and are pretty standard elsewhere in this price range. "This was a good basic hostel cheap as well. They only had desk fans which really did nothing except circulate hot air round the already hot room. If it's just a bed and a nice chill out garden you want close to the local things to see this is iseal. Host very knowledgeable"
