"The was amazing! Max and Susanna were wonderful hosts/front desk personnel. They were always helpful and spoke English very clearly which was also helpful. We were a little spoiled, and had the top room that had the terrace with an amazing view and access to the eating area next door. You could hear the sea lions outside, and the hotel was easily assessable to everything. It's literally across the street from the port/ferry. There's a little mini market next-door, which made things convenient and they provide filtered water on each floor of the hotel. The only downside was the stairs after a long day, but San Cristobal was so special and didn't really matter. The breakfast were also very good. They made to order eggs every morning and had fruit and yogurt. I will definitely stay there again!"

"Amazing mid-market Inn. This little Boutique hotel was fantastic, right on harbor (disregard whiny reviews about the sea lion noise, close your bloody door if you don’t like it!). The IHG Indigo hotel next door a great counter point. Same view impersonal service corporate vibe and three times the price. We highly recomend this more authentic, classic experience. Breakfast thoughtful and plentiful (custom eggs, fruit, granola, fresh juice & breads) rooms bright and spacious (no tv and small baths, think European Inn). Very nice pools, attentive staff"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The room itself is very basic but for the 3 days I was on the island it had everything I needed:hot water to shower, good wifi, filtered water to fill a bottle with and air conditioning. They also have a smart TV in the room which is a nice touch but I was too exhausted every day to ever use it. The other nice bonus was a small coffee/tea station and a microwave in the lobby common space. My tours all left early so it was nice to be able to grab some bread and fruit from the panaderia and have a little breakfast with the provided coffee even before I left. The people who run the hotel are all very nice and helpful. The only downside I could find is if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in later this might not be the place for you. Around 6-7 am every day you could hear trucks buses outside that were quite loud. For me it wasnt a problem because I was up for my tours anyways. Overall a good stay for the price! "

"The penthouse was amazing. Very spacious and clean, with a fully stocked kitchen (including eggs and real coffee). The balcony was exactly like the pictures, with a nice breeze overlooking the bay. The hammock was also nap tested and approved! Quick walk one direction into town, the other direction for beaches, hikes, and the interpretive center. We wished we had stayed there a few more days, it was so relaxing. "
