"We had a wonderful stay in Lecce. The city is beautiful and the location is very central. The house was very clean and nicer than the pictures. The rooms are beautiful and everything worked well. Maria was very helpful and communicative- thank you for making feel at home! As a note when staying in the old city: parking will be a little distant, so expect to walk about 10 minutes."

"The accommodations were spacious and very comfortable for our family. Everything was within walking distance and we enjoyed our time there very much. We had several parking options nearby (paid or unpaid for a slight walk) and we also had access to a grocery store if we wanted to cook at home. The historic property is unique and the interior was beautifully appointed. "

Communication with the owner was very easy and extremely helpful to answer questions about the area, restaurants, history, arraging parking close to lodging. Lecce was our base to visit Gallopli and Otronto. A day in each city worked well for us."

"This is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment located very close to one of the gates into the Old Town of Lecce. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. There is also a Conrad supermarket less than a kilometre from the apartment. The only minor irritant is the presence across the road from the apartment of a mobile fast food van which can be quite noisy in the late evening and early evening. But it didn’t really disturb us much. The Old Town of Lecce is impressive...

"Considering how reasonably priced this lovely apartment is, it's a very good choice. The location a few steps from Porta Napoli is ideal, with lots of restaurants, cafes, churches, etc. The only drawback to the apartment is lack of light and air. But otherwise very good."

"The location is great! Very near the historic centre. The place was very clean and communication and check in were easy! It’s a beautiful building and has a big patio, which is in the sun all day. However, it was decorated quite cheaply and there was nothing ‘extra’ provided. "We stayed a month at Casa Gianni. A spacious, clean property in a small 'village' on the outskirts of Lecce. We only went sightseeing a few days, so used Radio taxis (25-30 euros each way to Lecce) rather than hiring a car. Bus service almost non-existent. Driving into Lecce is not for fainthearted as streets are full of pedestrians. Supermarket (open 8-2 and 5-8) closed Sundays, plus a bar, pharmacy, florists and butchers nearby. The only eaterie, the Pizzeria seemed to open at random hours...

"Desy was an awesome host. She had everything ready for us. She gave us helpful hints where to eat, where to park our vehicle, and places not to miss. The apartment was spotless, nice rooms and beds.
