Cabin On The River, Pet-Friendly, Great Fishing!

"The property was as described on VRBO. In a quiet location with the Florida River running just feet from the front of the cabin with what appeared to be a very small spring pond. Large trees surrounding you so you are sheltered from the view of the neighboring cabin. Beautiful wild flowers and catch and release fishing right there at your reach. The cabin was clean and everything you need to fix your meal right there if that is your want. There are fans included if you come during the warm season. If you are hot natured you might ask for one more box fan to help you out during the day time. Night time cools off nicely. The internet didn't work the first two days there but the owner called and helped me straighten that out (Some old equipment had been hooked up with the new. Once that was removed the internet, and tv worked great. My husband and I loved it. Our son was a little hesitant to jump in on the quiet and restful place."

"Very beautiful and relaxing home and property. Deer and wild turkeys roamed through every day of our trip. The mattresses were probably the best we have ever experienced at a VRBO property. Went to sleep nightly with the sound of the river flowing by. Our dog loved the pond, streams and grass. Great fishing. Highly recommend and hope to return."

"I think there a bit too much furniture. Also lots of boxes visible with stored items. So the cluttered look is not as relaxing. Sofa is broken down inside. It could be fixed up a bit. But everything you need and nice being outside of town. It was clean and quiet. I would suggest updating and clearing out stored boxes. Make it more inviting. So photos are a tad deceiving. I would put a smaller dining table in there. It was not the same in the photo. They have a very clean kitchen and bathroom's. Well appointed. I had asked ahead of time if they had a Keurig. I was told no. So I brought mine. Got there and they had one."

"This was a great cabin! So cute and relaxing. The kitchen is fully fully stocked with everything you could want. The bed was very comfortable. They have some many extras including even some dog crates in one of the closet (I brought my own so didn’t used them but they looked like medium size crates). The only improvement I could recommend would be that the grill really needs to be cleaned."

"We arrived right on schedule. The directions provided were great. It’s a great small neighborhood, quiet and you immediately hear the water just steps from the back deck.There’s a hammock (didn’t try it) the deck has seats and a table with four chairs to the side. Great sitting in the morning drinking coffee and watching the water bounce against the rocks.The cabin has everything you need (minus pepper) but we made do. Comfortable furniture, a hideaway bed and a big master bedroom. It has one bathroom but it worked just fine. There’s a separate cabin right next to it with two twin beds and a half bath (toliet and sink only). It was great for midday naps. This cabin currently doesn’t have a way of locking it from the inside so I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in there, but the owner plans to change that.The decor was nice. Full size table, all the amenities you need. Washer and dryer is available but we didn’t use it. Modern features.We didn’t lack anything and would definitely return. Hosts are awesome.I would recommend copying and pasting the instructions prior to arrival so you can log into the WiFi. Otherwise you may not be able see access information. We truly enjoyed our time here and I believe that anyone who stays will too."

"this 100 year old cabin was lovely! well appointed with all you need. even a working espresso machine. I was slightly worried about no A/C as it's been so hot however it was ver cool and lovely and zero need. the beds are so comfy and the furniture is made to melt into and relax for perfect family gathering. a quick stroll to the lake, Bald eagles, and perfect day of easy access paddle boarding! the neighboring barn is fairly close about maybe a block in city distance if that,but the cabin and its deck faces the other direction and feels like your alone in the woods with a view of the lake. the whiny teenagers loved every minute of the weekend here which was shocking and awesome"
